For the explorer in you

I am a queer-friendly, down-to-earth therapist who runs a very warm, grounded and affirming private practice. People I support are often exploring issues of identity, trauma, culture, selfhood, connection, trust and love.

I have lots of experience supporting clients impacted by trauma, relationship difficulties, professional burnout, heartbreak and the question of how to hold hope in uncertain times.

And I offer specialised support around birth trauma for women & partners, and trauma & burnout for midwives and obstetricians.

I originally trained as a person-centred counsellor, which means I focus on developing authentic, caring relationships with my clients. A safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is widely recognised as the number one predictor of positive outcomes for clients.

I have completed training in Internal Family Systems, Voice Dialogue, Somatic Embodiment & Regulation, and more. These days, I would say I am an integrative, relational therapist - this means I use a range of approaches to help explore what works best, and feels most right, for you and your circumstances.

I see my practice as a soft place to land; flexible, inviting and very human. I invite you to get in touch so that together we can figure out if there’s something here that can support you.

“Working with you has absolutely changed the way I see myself, and the way I experience my life.

I’m a lot kinder to myself and a lot more relaxed. I trust myself more. It’s been really great.”

Sarah (long term therapy client).
